Comprising enthusiastic young athletes, the team is set to embark on an exciting journey of skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Under the guidance of dedicated coaches, the Wilmington Raptors U14 Team is poised to make its mark on the rugby field, representing our community with pride and passion. Rookie Rugby Program
The Rookie Rugby Program is a non-contact rugby program for girls and boys ages 7-14.
Our programs introduce new players to the game of Rookie Rugby (non-contact) and allow them to develop core rugby skills of passing, catching, evasive running, and scoring!
Players typically participate in small-sided games and fun competitions.
Registration for the Spring 2026 program will open soon.

The 2026 program will include five (5) instructional sessions and an end-of-season tournament hosted by Rugby Delaware. We will also scrimmage against other local Rookie Rugby teams during one or more of the sessions. An overview of the program dates and times are provided below. If you are interested in having your child/family member participate, please complete the registration and payment details below once available. In addition, please download the participant waiver form and return a completed copy to RookieRugby@wilmingtonrugby.com.
